Since in one of our posts, we explained the use of Sprites to improve the performance of our websites. Here, we want to recommend Sprite cow, a service that will be useful if you have difficulties knowing the exact positions of your icons, due to the size of the sprite or the number of images.
This tool is Sprite Cow, and its use is really simple. Its intuitive interface shows two buttons, one to give an example of its use (Show Example) and another to upload the sprite sheet (Open Image).
Once the image is uploaded, we select the icon that we want to display and the css code that we must place in our style sheet will automatically be generated.
Really useful, easy and fast.
