Last April 17, we witnessed the exciting Nintendo Indie World Showcase, where we got an exclusive look at the upcoming indie games coming to the Nintendo Switch. And on April 29, it was Microsoft’s turn to surprise us with its ID@Xbox Showcase 2024, presenting an impressive selection of indie games in an exclusive broadcast with IGN.
As usual, here we bring you our selection of the most outstanding titles presented at the conference dedicated to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Windows PC.
Commandos Origins
A pleasant surprise that takes us back to the beginnings of the commando unit, offering us a tactical experience based on stealth during the Second World War. From Africa to Scandinavia, with impressive tactical missions, you will use the unique skills of the 6 squad members to complete them.
Commandos is coming to Xbox Game Pass in a closed Beta during the summer of 2024, available for Xbox Cloud Gaming, console and PC
33 Immortals
Rebel against God’s final judgment and fight monsters and huge bosses, in this cooperative game for 33 people. A vibrantly colored game where you can expand your arsenal with weapons powered by sins and virtues, and adapt relics to your play style, gaining permanent upgrades for your soul.
The closed beta will be available from May 24 to June 2, 2024, with support for Xbox X|S Series, Windows PC and Xbox Game Pass from day one.
All You Need Is Help
From Q-games, an independent video game studio based in Kyoto, Japan, comes a fun multiplayer game in which fluffy and adorable figures push each other to achieve collaborative goals.
This fall, you can enjoy this experience on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Astor: Blade of the Monolith
Action RPG game in which you play as Astor, a young warrior who seeks to unravel the secrets surrounding the disappearance of his creators. Attacks, skills, combos, legendary weapons and magical powers ready to be unlocked as you fight against hordes of enemies.
Available May 30 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, PS4, and PS5.
Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter
The second installment of Tails of Iron immerses you in an epic adventure as Arlo, heir to the Warden of the Wastelands, fighting Dark Wings in the frozen locations of the Northern Kingdom of the Rats. Hunt giant beasts, unite clans and upgrade your settlement as you uncover a terrible secret of blood and crown.

Centum
Announced in world premiere, Centum is a horror adventure game with an intriguing narrative that defies reliability. With a fantastic pixelart style, it promises a dose of disturbing moments. Available for Xbox Series X|S and PC in summer 2024.
Lost Records: Bloom & Rage
This narrative game immerses us in the memories of four high school friends in the fictional town of Velvet Cove during the vacations of 1995, where an event changed their lives forever. Now, 27 years later they have reunited; even though they promised never to do so again. A haunting story coming in 2024 for Xbox Series X|S, PC and PS5.
The ID@Xbox Showcase 2024 has definitely given us an exciting glimpse into the future of indie gaming, with titles that promise to surprise and captivate Xbox One, Xbox X Series X/S and PC gamers. From tactical World War II experiences to colorful and exciting co-op adventures, the diversity of the games showcased leave us eagerly awaiting their release.
